Board-certified orthopaedic surgery in Los Angeles

The UCLA Elite Sports Medicine Program was founded in 2024 with the goal of developing a world-class comprehensive program for the care of athletic injuries. The internationally recognized faculty includes orthopaedic surgeons, primary care sports medicine doctors, physical therapists, and researchers whose collaborative goal is to provide state-of-the art diagnosis, treatment, rehabilitation, and return-to-sport programs to athletes of all levels. We proudly provide care for the Los Angeles Chargers, Los Angeles Lakers, Los Angeles Dodgers, UCLA Athletics, and many local high schools and club teams.

Dr. Petrigliano’s primary office is at UCLA Santa Monica Hopsital. This facility houses the orthopaedic clinic, x-ray, ultrasound, and fluoroscopic imaging to afford our clinicians the ability to diagnose and treat a variety of musculoskeletal conditions at one location. Furthermore, our physicians are also involved with clinical and basic science research. Consequently, we are involved in several clinical trials that are aimed at developing novel treatments for arthritis, cartilage injury and muscle atrophy.
