Los Angeles orthopaedic surgeon Dr. Frank Petrigliano is fortunate to treat athletes at the top of their professions. Dr. Petrigliano provides the same high-level of orthopaedic care to all his patients, from the professional athlete to pediatric and geriatric patients. Dr. Petrigliano proudly provide care for the Los Angeles Chargers, UCLA Athletics, and many local high schools and club teams.

Los Angeles Chargers

In 2024, UCLA Health became the official health care partner of the Los Angeles Chargers. Dr. Petrigliano has assumed the position of head team physican and orthopaedic surgeron. As head team physician Dr. Petrigliano is focused on providing state-of-the-art care to these elite athletes ensuring they get back in the game. Dr. Petrigliano attends every game to quickly assess and provide care in the event of an injury.

Los Angeles Kings, Brooklyn Nets, Iona College Athletics, USC Athletics

After residency, Dr. Petrigliano completed a fellowship in Sports Medicine and Shoulder Surgery at the prestigious Hospital for Special Surgery and Weill Cornell Medical College in New York City where he assisted in the care of the Brooklyn Nets and Iona College Athletics. After fellowship, Dr. Petrigliano was a faculty member at UCLA for 10 years prior to joining the sports medicine division at USC. While at USC, Dr. Petrigliano was the head team physician for the LA Kings and an associate team physician for USC Athletics.
